The "Camel Coat"

The beloved 'camel coat' has been taking over the fashion scene since AW14. It has been seen on well known fashionistas from fashion bloggers, to the most famous trendsetters such as the Kardashian/Jenner clan.

From the trouble I've had (and many other people) trying to find and purchase one of these gorgeous coats; I can instantly tell that this coat must be a No. 1 seller of 2014/2015.

The Zara Waterfall coat, a black top, black skinny jeans and nude heels - perfection.

Black Vest - This Topshop vest is definitely worth purchasing, it's skinny fit and it's only £6 - that's a bargain you cant miss!
or
Black Vest - I recently discovered this River Island vest online, I love the racer back on this, it completely changes the vest from being basic.

Black Skinny Jeans - I absolutely recommend Topshop jeans, they are such high quality, the material is lovely and soft (especially the leigh jeans) and they'll hug your figure perfectly. They can sometimes be a little bit expensive; but they're definitely worth the money.

Nude Heels - These nude heels are from Asos, they are the perfect shade of nude and; the heel height is only 4" so they'll still be comfortable and you'll be able to walk with ease!

Zara Waterfall Coat: Similar - In my opinion; this is a beautiful copy of the famous 'Zara waterfall coat', it's a very similar shade, and the waterfall effect still hangs effortlessly.

The Zara Waterfall Camel coat, with a grey marl knitted co-ord set and some beautiful cream open toe heels.
Zara Waterfall Coat: Similar linked below - unfortunately for us camel coat lovers; this coat is a HUGE sell out, but never fear, high-street retailers have saved the day, retailers such as Missguided have began stocking the most sought after coat since AW14.

Grey Marl Knitted Co-Ord - I think this Missguided co-ord may even the one from the picture above! A knitted co-ord set is perfect for the cold February weather; as it means you can dress up your outfit while still keeping warm.

The gorgeous Kim Kardashian going for the nude on nude look.

The camel coat comes in many different styles, high-end or high-street, long or short - but for me my favourites are Missguided's Camel coat and Zara's Waterfall coat. Zara's waterfall coat is absolutely beautiful in my eyes, any woman of any size or height can pull this coat off; the waterfall front allows this coat to hang beautifully and also adds a touch of elegance.

Missguided's camel coat on the other hand is different; it's immaculately tailored to give the perfect fit. This coat is ankle-length and long-line; which will create the effect that you are taller and also slimmer.

#OOTD: 22nd February 2015

Cobalt Blue and White -

Cobalt blue has always been one of my favourite colours, it's just one of those colours which suits my skin tone, hair and eyes perfectly. It's such a bright and vibrant colour - and these trousers are perfect for the upcoming seasons. I bought these trousers online from Missguided about a month ago in the sale, I got them for £6 which is absolutely amazing! I ordered mine in a size 6 as I have quite skinny legs; I am so glad I ordered them in this size as they are a perfect fit!

Next, the white chiffon blouse. The white chiffon blouse is perfect for any outfit, any occasion, no matter what your style is. Whether your style is professional (for work), the rich girl, street chic, runway ready, or minimalist - a white chiffon blouse will never let you down.

I find that when I wear any type of shirt that has a collar; I tend to look overly manly/masculine, so when I found this shirt with a tie neck, it added the right amout of femininity to my outfit. I haven't had this blouse for very long so you may even be able to still purchase the same one; I bought mine from Primark for £9 which is incredible considering how well-made this shirt is and the quality of the material. This outfit is a perfect example that you don't need to spend hundreds of  £'s to create an outfit that you love. For accessories and shoes; I think I would have to pair this outfit with a lime green bag and some white barely there heels.

My Favourite Designer Handbag - The Hermes Birkin Bag

Today's blog post is all about my favourite designer handbags. The Hermes Birkin bag will forever hold the number one spot as my favourite designer bag. I feel like these are the most versatile bags around, the Birkin is such a simple bag yet it can be the perfect finishing to any outfit. Between the wait lists, its ladylike allure and the iconic name, the Birkin is still to this day 'the must-have bag.' From the pictures below you can see Hermes' finest bag on the arms of todays' 'It girls' such as the Kardashians/Jenners, Victoria Beckham, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio etc.

Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian spotted carrying their Hermes Birkin bag.

Kim Kardashian carrying a birkin which looks to be a deep purple/brown shade.
Alessandra Ambrosio carrying her Birkin bag, which seems to me a type of light brown shade.

Miranda Kerr carrying the most commonly brought - black Birkin bag.
Victoria Beckham carrying one of her many Birkin bags in a pastel blue shade.

The Birkin bag can range from £6,700 to £100,000 ($10,500 to $150,000) but sometimes the bags exceed the £100,000 price mark at auctions. The costs of the bags escalate dependent on the type of material used to create the bag.

"The bags are distributed to Hermes boutiques on unpredictable schedules and in limited quantities, creating scarcity and exclusivity" - Wikipedia. The Birkin bag is available in a variety of hides such as calf leather, crocodile, ostrich and lizard - the interior of the bag is lined with high quality goat skin. One of the most expensive hides is saltwater crocodile skin. "It is highly coveted and, for several years, was reputed for having waiting list of up to six years - the longest wait for any bag in history" - Wikipedia.

Above picture: In March 2013, The Philippine Star reported that a very high-end, 30cm Shiny Rouge H Porosus Crocodile Birkin with 18k gold fittings fetched $203,150 (£131,940) at an auction in Dallas, Texas.

Spring 15 Couture: Zuhair Murad

This Spring 15 Couture collection is beautifully embellished with beads, sequins and tulle, and a colour palette including pale blues, ivory, pastel blues and pale pinks.

Zuhair Murad's Spring 15 Collection may have been one of my favourite shows ever - it was breathtaking. When I first saw the collection I instantly fell in love with the dresses. Each look has immaculate tailoring and sewing of beading, tulle and sequins; yet each piece is completely unique.
I love how elegant yet sophisticated each dress is, they create a beautiful feminine silhouette - perfect for balls, red carpet events or award ceremonies.
Each piece is embedded with femininity due to Murad's choice of deep V front dresses and thigh-high leg splits, which will both accentuate any womans' figure.
It's fair to say that Murad and his team of designers have put in endless hours of commitment and care to this Spring 15 Couture collection.

Moschino: Pre-Fall 2015

The tape measure print gives off the impression that Scott wants us to see the very beginning of making the pieces.

Pastel palettes and co-ord sets are in this season, and Moschino have put the two together to create timeless pieces.

The sewing/measure prints also show how the pieces are made from scratch.

Moschino have recreated the 60's style perfectly; the designs, prints and colours mirror the 1960's vibe but also adds a hint of today's fashion trends.
Jeremy Scott is one of a kind, he goes to places that other designers wouldn't dream of; there is nobody like him. Scott uses bold colours and statement prints to recreate timeless pieces from previous eras - Moschino is such a unique brand.
Moschino's Pre-Fall collection contains coat hanger prints, tape measure prints, sewing lines and a LBD that literally says "Little Black Dress" - Moschino have taken their collection to the full extreme. I feel like this season, Moschino have taken us back to the basics; I feel as though Jeremy Scott wants to show everyone the care and detail that is put into each piece, and to showcase the very beginning of how each look is created.
By using statement prints such as tape measures and sewing lines, this Pre-Fall collection attracts the viewers attention - but also adds a touch of simplicity to each look..
To top it off, Moschino add monochrome palettes and pastels to their collection to link up with this seasons trends. The co-ord outfits show immaculate tailoring, a 60's vibe and pastel palettes to emphasise this seasons vibrant colours.

I've Got That Summer Feeling

Today's blog post is about yesterdays #OOTD. My usual attire tends to be dark colours such as blacks, greys, whites and navy blues due to the dull and dreary weather we get in Britain, but as the sun yesterday I was out I felt like I needed to brighten up my outfit.
Lime green is one of the must have colours in your spring/summer wardrobe this year, and I got my jumper from Tesco a few months ago in the sale. As it's still cold outside I didn't think wearing a cropped jumper was the wisest idea, but I was so surprised at how warm this jumper kept me!
These beautiful jeans are from Topshop which I brought in December last year, these are the softest, most comfortable jeans I have ever purchased! I brought mine in W25 L34 and they hug my figure amazingly, and for me, the ripped knees add the perfect detail to the jeans; and for £38 you can't complain.
My little yellow handbag is from Next, which I brought in the sales before Christmas. I'm not usually a fan of yellow, but this bag screamed "Celine dupe" to me so I had to have it; and it matched perfectly with my summery outfit...a bonus!
Next, these fabulous little heels, these shoes in my opinion add a touch of the 60's and 70's to every outfit. The detail completely refused show up on camera (unimpressive), the shoe details are a monochrome print on the front of the shoe which comes to a point, a block heel and an ankle strap - everything I love in a shoe! The monochrome/60's look has been creeping its way back onto the fashion scene since AW 14, and the S/S 15 collections have introduced bold and brighter colours to the 60's inspired fashion. 70's fashion has boldly made its way back into this eras fashion, with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian sporting the flared-leg trousers.
Last but not least, accessorizing the outfit - I absolutely love these earrings as they are a mix of pastel pinks and dusty pinks - perfect for these sunny winter days, and they also brighten up the outfit which is a bonus.

All of my outfit details will be linked below, if I can't find the exact item then I will link something similar instead, thank you to everyone who reads my blog posts or who reads my future posts,

love, Chloe.

All About Me

This is my first ever blog post! I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Chloe Tunstall and I'm 17 years old (18 this year, hooray!) I come from the city of Wolverhampton.

My whole life is fashion, I love every single aspect of it; from charity shop clothing to fabulous designers such as YSL, Christian Louboutin, Celine, Hermes etc. Although I absolutely adore high end clothing and accessories, I also believe that "it's not about brand, it's about style." Style is all about being you, wearing what you want, whether you have an undying love for monochrome outfits, you're head over heels in love with nude outfits, or you religiously wear the boldest prints and colours; fashion is knowing how to adapt your personal style to the seasons latest trends.

I'm not going to ramble on too much for my first post, I think you all get the hint that I'm absolutely madly in love with fashion haha, I hope you all enjoy my future blog posts,

Love, Chloe.
