How to Style: Denim on Denim This Season

The denim-on-denim look may not be the most jaw-dropping trend; but for SS15 designers such as Moschino, Gucci and Stella McCartney have embraced double, triple and even quadruple layers of denim.

Moschino Spring 2015, Milan Fashion Week.

Tan shades, suede textures, denim on denim and lace up dresses - Gucci are recreating the 70's vibe for Milan Fashion Week.

Denim on denim can sometimes be a hit or miss look, the best way to nail this style is to mix it up abit. Opt for different shades of denim instead of sticking to one or even choose a pair of patchwork or ripped jeans instead of a basic pair; as this will add a touch of detail to your chic outfit!

Now, whoever the woman in the pictures above may be, I absolutely love how she's styled this outfit. The block heels, double denim and patchwork jeans add dash of vintage to her outfit but also keeping in with today's 70's inspired trends. This is such an effortless and street-chic outfit; I love how the sleeves of her oversized shirt are messily rolled up, the contrast of denim shades and the lack of accessories. I think an outfit like this needs minimal jewellery because you'll want to keep the main focus on your stylish double (maybe even triple) denim attire.

Blue Denim Long Sleeve Shirt - Every woman needs a denim shirt in their wardrobe this spring/summer, I personally love this one from New Look, it's a great shade of blue. I think it would look amazing with a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, nude heels and a nude clutch for a effortless-chic summer look.

Blue Ripped Boyfriend Jeans - This season skinny-fit jeans are being exchanged for oversized, boyfriend or mom jeans. Pair them with a bold print top or shirt, nude heels and a trench coat for those colder spring days. Below is a beautiful trench coat from River Island which would look perfect paired with the jeans above.

This trench coat has such lovely yellow and mustard hues, so it's perfect to match with navy blues, browns, and whites - great for this season. I hope this blog post will help and inspire you when you're out looking for your double denim outfits!

Thank you so much to everyone who reason my blog,

Body Jewellery Shop: Silver Glitter Studs

I have recently discovered a jewellery company called Body Jewellery Shop, they have some amazing ear piercing jewellery to choose from! They generously sent me a sample of their jewellery to review on my blog, which I am so grateful for!

I absolutely love these earrings, they're so dainty and elegant and they're perfect for a day-to-night look.
These silver studs are great for when you don't want your jewellery to draw attention away from your outfit.

These earrings are perfect for everyday use as their not too extravagant!

For accessories, I would pair these with a simple, yet elegant necklace, a dress ring and a sparkly bag or clutch bag. For the outit - I would definitely go for the double denim look, it's such a huge trend this season, and these beautiful studs will add that touch of sparkle that you need.

Body Shop Jewellery sell a huge range of jewellery including studs, stretchers, labret piercings, navel piercings etc. When I first discovered this jewellery shop, I couldn't believe how affordable each piece was!  I don't have any other piercings myself apart from my ears, but, for those of you who do, I am going to show you (and link below) some of their other pieces.

Silver Charm Belly Bar - This belly bar piercing literally makes me want to get my belly pierced! It's so beautiful and I really love the heart and arrow charms - and for 4.95 it's an absolute steal!

When I was around the age of 12/13 I decided to stretch my ear lobes. At the time I absolutely loved them, in my right ear I wore a 10mm and in my left I wore a 8mm. Personally silicone stretchers weren't my favourite as they kind of stuck to the skin on my ear lobe, if you're ever going to stretch your ear lobes I don't recommend going any higher than a 10mm as your ears won't shrink back to their original size.

I definitely recommend taking a look at the Body Jewellery Shop girls, and I definitely recommend buying the Silver Glitter Stud Earrings, they have some amazing quality pieces and really affordable prices!

Thank you so much to everyone who reads my blog,

Love, Chloe.

Beauty Edit: My Favourite Beauty Products

2 years ago I discovered the wonderful world of makeup videos on YouTube. I was really intrigued by how so many of these beautiful women were self-taught makeup artists, that it inspired me to learn the art of makeup.

From there it began - my insane obsession with all things makeup including the videos on YouTube. My obsession had got that bad, that I was watching makeup videos for nearly 4 hours a time.
Anyway, I want to show you my favourite beauty products and why I love them so much.

1. Sleek Makeup Face Contour Kit - I'm a really big fan of this contour kit, when I first ordered it from Boots I was abit weary that the contour shade would either be shimmery or look quite muddy on my face. I was so shocked as soon as I used this palette - it has such silky, smooth powders, and they blend out beautifully. For me, the highlight in this palette isn't as bold and shimmery as I'd like it to be, but this is easily solved by adding extra highlight to my cheekbone. I bought my Sleek palette in the shade Medium as I've got quite tanned skin; I think the contour powder in the shade Light wouldn't really show up on my skin, as I like quite a strong contour. If you're looking for a budget powder contour palette this is perfect as it's only £6.49!

2. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - I've had my Expert Face brush for about a year now and even to this day I still absolutely love it! This brush really buffs and blends the foundation into your skin, giving a flawless and streak-free finish. Even after washing this brush time and time again, it still stays in beautiful condition and the bristles haven't lost their amazing quality. The Expert Face brush is definitely a must-have in every girls' brush collection.
(Not my photo) This is just to show you how well this mascara works, and how beautiful it makes your eyelashes look.

3. Boots Natural Collection Lash Length Mascara - This mascara really is amazing! My all time mascara used to be the Miss Sporty Mascara, but about two weeks ago I ran out of it. So I had to rummaged through all my makeup to try and find a back up mascara, and I came across the Boots Natural Collection Mascara which I hadn't used. Let me just tell you that this mascara works wonders when paired with a decent eyelash curler. With only using one coat of mascara I couldn't believe how long my eyelashes were.  Considering this mascara comes with a basic wand; it doesn't flake and it keeps my eyelashes looking long all day - and for £2 it's such a bargain!

4. Beauty UK Eyeshadow Palette: Naked 7 - If you're looking for a budget nude eyeshadow palette then you've come to the right place. This palette consists of matte shades and shimmery shades, and there's also a variety of cool and warm tone shades which is great. This Beauty UK palette is definitely great for every day use; especially if you're going for quite a simple eye.

5. Make-Up Academy Eyeshadows - Now, I'm going talking about all of the MUA Eyeshadows - they're ALL amazing. Each and every eyeshadow has such amazing pigmentation (which is great considering that they're only £1 each) and with the right eyeshadow base or primer, they're guaranteed to stay put all day. I'll link below some of my favourite shades from the MUA collections.

MUA Matte Eyeshadow in Pewter - This shade would be perfect for creating a smokey eye.
MUA Mono Eyeshadow in Fudge - Perfect when used on the lid for a neutral eye.
MUA Mono Eyeshadow in Copper - Today I am actually using this shade on my lid paired with a warm tone brown in the outer v of my eye, I only ever need one coat of this shadow because of how high the pigmentation is.
MUA Matte Eyeshadow in Smoke - Every woman needs a matte black shade in their eyeshadow collection. Dark, matte shades are perfect for use in the crease of the eye and the outer v.

6. Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation - Now, I'm going to get straight to the point and tell you that this foundation isn't the best. The bottle says "transfer proof, hydrating and lightweight feel", but to me it's a bit drying in certain places (especially under my eyes) and this is definitely a full coverage foundation so it doesn't have a 'lightweight feel'. Despite those negatives, I do actually love this foundation. Before I apply any make-up I use the Palmers Cocoa Butter Gradual Tan on my face, it really helps to hide any pigmentation problems on my face and it minimises my birthmark on my cheek. A little goes a LONG way with this foundation so be sure to use this sparingly, one other bonus with this foundation is the thick consistency; it really helps to cover and conceal those under-eye dark circles.

7. Sleek Matte Me Lipstick in Rioja Red -  I got this as a free sample when I ordered two of the Sleek Face Contour Kits, and I was quite weary about using this as I used to steer clear of all red lipsticks. Red lipsticks or glosses used to always clash whenever I wore them, but this is due to the fact that I have an orange-shade of eye colour and sandy tones in my hair. This Sleek lipgloss completely change my view on the red lip, Rioja Red is such a versatile colour and it will definitely suit any skin tone. This lipgloss goes on as a gloss but dries matte, the staying power is great especially if you eat/drink whilst wearing it.

8.  Makeup Revolution Powder Blush in Treat - I struggled quite a lot to find a blush that suits my skin tone, and before I found this blush I never used to wear any at all. Makeup Revolution is a cheap, but high quality brand that's only available in Superdrug. The pigmentation of the Makeup Revolution blushes is so beautiful and they apply so silky as well. I've never really been a fan of lower-end makeup as sometimes it doesn't apply as well as high-end makeup would. For about a year now I've been exploring the budget makeup such as Make-Up Academy and Makeup Revolution; and I have to say I'm really amazed by how high-quality some of the products are.

I really hope this blog post helps you when you're out on your next beauty haul,

Thank you so much to everyone who reads my blog posts,
Love, Chloe.

Bikini Bottom

As SS15 begins and the countdown for summer draws nearer, retailers are introducing their new swimwear collections. We are seeing bold florals, neon shades and delicate pastels swarming the shops this season, and today I'm going to show you some of my favourite pieces.

For me, I've always struggled to find a bikini that fits just right as I'm only a size 6/8 on the bottom, but I wear a 32DD bra. Last year when I went holiday shopping, I ended up buying size 6 bikini bottoms with a size 14 top - talk about oddly proportioned! So for you girls who were blessed (or cursed) with a bigger bust; I'm going to show you the best and worst bikinis for you this summer.

Halter neck bikinis will work wonders for any bra size actually, they give an instant lift to the bust creating the illusion that your boobs are bigger (if you wear a smaller cup), but if you're carry a bigger bust; halter neck bikinis will give your boobs great support. Also, the tie sides on the bikini bottoms allow adjustment for those of you who have wider or more narrow hips.

Let me start off by saying that this bikini set is AMAZING! I'm a huge fan of the 50's and in my eyes this is a beautiful recreation of that era. A bustier bikini top and high waisted bikini bottoms are great for somebody with pear shaped figure, such as Iggy Azalea. People with a smaller bum (if you're anything like me) won't really benefit from high waisted bottoms as they can sometimes give the illusion of a long flat bum.

I absolutely adore this bikini set from New Look, and I'm definitely going to buy them soon. This is perfect for my body type - the halter neck tie gives me enough support for my boobs, the triangle-shaped bikini top is the perfect shape for me and the tie waist gives me the option to adjust the bikini bottoms as I only have narrow hips.

Florals are in this season, but River Island have taken it to the next step - 3D daisies. Again, this is another great bikini for my body size, and, it's a gorgeous set - what more could you want?!

The majority of the female population love Triangl Swimwear Bikini's, but they don't love the price. So, stores such as River Island and New Look have taken it upon them selves to create more affordable dupes. Personally, I adore the colour and material of this particular bikini set, but I wouldn't purchase it as balconette bras/bikini tops do nothing for me, they weirdly change the shape of my boobs and let me tell you, it's not a pretty sight!

Orange Scuba Bikini Bottoms

These are the Milly Bikinis from Triangl Swimwear, the shades are (from left to right): California Coral, Indiana Ice, Arizona Sunset, Candy Pink and Santa Rosa Splash. Triangl Swimwear create simplistic yet beautiful swimwear collections, which are loved all over the world. I'm still yet to purchase one of these bikinis as I haven't started my holiday shopping. The Milly and Poppy collection from Triangl Swimwear have two additional bikini top sizes - small+ and small++, these sizes are designed for women who have a bigger bust (C-DD) with a small under bust (XXS-S).

I'm definitely going to have to buy the Chloe bikini (what a coincidence) in the shade Arizona Sunset, it's such a beautiful colour, and it's perfect for when you're relaxing in the sun; on a Caribbean beach with a cocktail in your hand. This has to be my favourite style in bikinis, this particular bikini has a halter neck tie and a back tie; for me I need a back tie on my bikinis because I have 30" under-bust, but my bust is 35" - so the back tie allows me to get the perfect fit and support my boobs at the same time.

I have also discovered that tonnes of people are selling amazing dupes of the Triangl Swimwear bikinis, I'll link below the dupes for the those of you who aren't too keen on spending $89 on a bikini.
Triangl Swimwear: Chloe Bikini - Arizona Sunset

Triangl Swimwear Dupe: Neoprene Bikini

Triangl Swimwear Dupe: Milly Bikini - Arizona Sunset

Triangl Swimwear Dupe: Poppy - Blue Crush

Triangl Swimwear Dupe: Poppy - Pink Lemonade

Triangl Swimwear Dupe: Milly - Santa Rosa Splash

So to break it down for you:
Balconette Bikini - perfect for people with a smaller bust as the under wire gives lift and pushes up the bust.
Triangle-Shaped Bikini - will suit any shape or size.
Halter Neck Bikini - great for bigger busted girls who want good support for their boobs, but also great for small busted girls as they lift the boobs and give the illusion of bigger boobs.

I hope this blog post help you girls when you're out holiday shopping,
Thank you to everyone who reads my blog,

Love, Chloe.

My Top Picks: High Street Shoes

At the moment I'm really into the bright and bold colours; I'm not really liking the greys and black lately, especially as we'll be coming into spring any time soon. Many retailers seem to be styling their shoe collections very similar - suede textures, laser cut and tie back detail. High street retailers take the majority of their inspiration from high end fashion designers; and as we are seeing more 70's vibes from designers such as Gucci, Emilio Pucci and Saint Laurent, retailers such as River Island, New Look and Zara are following in their footsteps.

I'm going to show you some of my favourite shoes from high-street retailers. I've been looking around instore and online lately; and I've seen some beautiful spring/summer shoes that will urge you to update your wardrobe to a bolder and brighter palette.

Pink Sling Back Heels

I think these shoes are absolutely beautiful, the shade of pink is perfect for those who prefer a more neutral palette on their outfits. Another bonus is that these are only a 3.5" heel so they're not going to cripple you! The pointed front and sling back detail will add the perfect amount of sophistication to any outfit.

This season is all about going bold; and these heels will help you do it perfectly. I've always been a fan of the 'barely there' heels, they're simple yet elegant. Barely there heels are great to pair with bold prints or heavy textures; as they won't draw too much attention away from the main focus - which is your outfit.

These heels are 100% holiday shoes - I imagine them to be worn with a pink kaftan and a Triangle Swimwear bikini; somewhere in the middle of Ibiza. The mesh detail makes this shoe perfect to add to a sports luxe outfit or a beach outfit for those of you who are going abroad this year!

Mint green loafers are what you need in your life right now! I absolutely adore the colour of these shoes, I've tried these on instore, and let me tell you, they are the most beautiful shade of blue you will ever see. As spring is just around the corner; and you're exchanging black and grey outfits for pastels, neons and whites - I'd say these are a compulsory addition to your spring wardrobe.

Laser Cut Tie Back Heels

This season Missguided are throwing it back 'old school' with these heeled sandals. With laser cut detail, a tie back and suede texture - Missguided have once again perfected today's most popular fashion trends. I think these shoes would look gorgeous with a pair of blue denim jeans and white shirt, paired with a tote bag, over-sized sunglasses and a few rose gold accessories to create that effortless chic look.

Thank you so much to everyone who reads my blog,

love, Chloe.

The "Camel Coat"

The beloved 'camel coat' has been taking over the fashion scene since AW14. It has been seen on well known fashionistas from fashion bloggers, to the most famous trendsetters such as the Kardashian/Jenner clan.

From the trouble I've had (and many other people) trying to find and purchase one of these gorgeous coats; I can instantly tell that this coat must be a No. 1 seller of 2014/2015.

The Zara Waterfall coat, a black top, black skinny jeans and nude heels - perfection.

Black Vest - This Topshop vest is definitely worth purchasing, it's skinny fit and it's only £6 - that's a bargain you cant miss!
or
Black Vest - I recently discovered this River Island vest online, I love the racer back on this, it completely changes the vest from being basic.

Black Skinny Jeans - I absolutely recommend Topshop jeans, they are such high quality, the material is lovely and soft (especially the leigh jeans) and they'll hug your figure perfectly. They can sometimes be a little bit expensive; but they're definitely worth the money.

Nude Heels - These nude heels are from Asos, they are the perfect shade of nude and; the heel height is only 4" so they'll still be comfortable and you'll be able to walk with ease!

Zara Waterfall Coat: Similar - In my opinion; this is a beautiful copy of the famous 'Zara waterfall coat', it's a very similar shade, and the waterfall effect still hangs effortlessly.

The Zara Waterfall Camel coat, with a grey marl knitted co-ord set and some beautiful cream open toe heels.
Zara Waterfall Coat: Similar linked below - unfortunately for us camel coat lovers; this coat is a HUGE sell out, but never fear, high-street retailers have saved the day, retailers such as Missguided have began stocking the most sought after coat since AW14.

Grey Marl Knitted Co-Ord - I think this Missguided co-ord may even the one from the picture above! A knitted co-ord set is perfect for the cold February weather; as it means you can dress up your outfit while still keeping warm.

The gorgeous Kim Kardashian going for the nude on nude look.

The camel coat comes in many different styles, high-end or high-street, long or short - but for me my favourites are Missguided's Camel coat and Zara's Waterfall coat. Zara's waterfall coat is absolutely beautiful in my eyes, any woman of any size or height can pull this coat off; the waterfall front allows this coat to hang beautifully and also adds a touch of elegance.

Missguided's camel coat on the other hand is different; it's immaculately tailored to give the perfect fit. This coat is ankle-length and long-line; which will create the effect that you are taller and also slimmer.

Zara Waterfall Coat: Similar
